Little Hanzi (Chinese name: “这个字怎么写啊”) is a Chinese-character lookup and handwriting-practice app for children and families. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. Summary

Little Hanzi does not require an account and does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, or cross-app tracking. The developer does not operate a server that receives app usage data and does not sell personal information.

2. Information stored on your device

To provide its features, the app stores the following information locally on your device:

• Chinese characters and words you search for;
• recent searches and handwriting-practice input history;
• app preferences, including language and practice settings;
• the number of distinct free characters already used;
• invitation-reward status; and
• locally cached purchase-entitlement status.

This information is used only to operate the app and is not transmitted to or accessible by the developer.

The list of previously used free characters and invitation-reward status may be stored in the iOS Keychain to prevent the free allowance from resetting after reinstallation. Keychain information may remain on the device after the app is deleted.

3. Microphone and speech recognition

Voice search is optional. When you choose voice input, the app requests microphone and speech-recognition permission. Audio and recognized text are handled by Apple’s Speech framework and may be processed by Apple according to Apple’s privacy policy and your device settings. The developer does not receive or retain the audio.

Recognized text may be added to the app’s local input history in the same way as typed text. You can deny or revoke microphone and speech-recognition access in iOS Settings without affecting typed search.

4. Sharing and CSV export

The app creates invitation images and input-history CSV files locally. These items leave the app only when you choose to share or export them through the iOS system interface. The destination you select, such as a messaging, email, cloud-storage, or files app, processes the shared item under its own privacy policy.

Invitation sharing is optional. CSV export is available independently and does not require you to share the app with another person. Completing an invitation share may provide the app’s one-time allowance of 10 additional free characters, but it is not required to access existing learned characters or CSV export.

The developer does not receive the shared image, CSV file, recipient information, or destination selection.

5. Purchases

The optional one-time purchase for unlimited new-character lookups is processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple manages payment and purchase entitlement. The developer does not receive your payment-card or billing details.

The app checks Apple-provided transaction information to determine whether unlimited new-character lookups are active, restored, refunded, or revoked.

6. Children’s privacy

Little Hanzi is designed for use by children and families. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or create child profiles. Purchase, purchase restoration, and rewarded invitation sharing are protected by an in-app parent-verification step.

Parents should review the privacy practices of any destination app before allowing a child to share or export content.

7. Data retention and deletion

You can clear recent searches and input history from the app’s Settings screen. Deleting the app removes its ordinary local files and preferences. As noted above, trial-character and invitation-reward status stored in the iOS Keychain may remain after reinstallation.

Because the developer does not receive or store this information on a server, the developer cannot view or remotely delete data stored on your device.

8. Third-party services

The app uses Apple system services for speech recognition, in-app purchases, system sharing, and local device storage. Use of these services is also subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

The app does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.

一、概述

本 App 不要求注册账号，不包含广告、行为分析或跨 App 跟踪功能。开发者没有用于接收 App 使用数据的服务器，也不会出售个人信息。

二、保存在设备上的信息

为了提供 App 功能，以下信息会保存在您的设备本地：

• 查询过的汉字和词语；
• 最近查询和书写练习输入记录；
• 语言、练习方式等 App 设置；
• 已使用的不同免费汉字数量；
• 邀请奖励领取状态；
• 本地缓存的购买权益状态。

三、麦克风与语音识别

语音查询是可选功能。选择语音输入时，App 会申请麦克风和语音识别权限。音频和识别结果由 Apple 的 Speech 框架处理，并可能按照 Apple 的隐私政策及您的设备设置由 Apple 处理。开发者不会收到或保存语音音频。

识别出的文字可能像手动输入的文字一样被加入本机输入记录。您可以在 iOS 设置中拒绝或关闭麦克风与语音识别权限，手动输入查询不受影响。

四、分享与 CSV 导出

邀请图片和输入记录 CSV 文件均在设备本地生成。只有在您主动通过 iOS 系统界面分享或导出时，相应内容才会离开 App。您选择的接收方，例如即时通信、邮件、云存储或文件 App，会按照其自身隐私政策处理共享内容。

邀请分享是可选操作。CSV 导出可独立使用，不要求您必须把 App 分享给其他人。完成一次邀请分享可能获得一次性的 10 个额外免费汉字额度，但查看已学汉字和使用 CSV 导出均不以分享为前提。

开发者不会收到共享图片、CSV 文件、接收人信息或您选择的分享目标。

五、购买

不限量查询新汉字的可选一次性买断项目由 Apple 通过 StoreKit 处理。付款和购买权益由 Apple 管理，开发者不会收到您的银行卡或账单信息。

App 会检查 Apple 提供的交易信息，以判断不限量查询新汉字的权益是否有效、已恢复、已退款或已撤销。

六、儿童隐私

本 App 面向儿童与家庭使用，不会有意收集儿童个人信息，也不会建立儿童档案。购买、恢复购买和带奖励的邀请分享均设有 App 内家长验证步骤。

家长允许孩子分享或导出内容前，应查看接收方 App 的隐私政策。

七、信息保留与删除

您可以在 App 的设置页面清除最近查询和输入记录。删除 App 会移除普通本地文件和偏好设置。如上所述，保存在 iOS 钥匙串中的试用汉字和邀请奖励状态可能在重新安装后继续保留。

由于开发者不会在服务器上接收或保存这些信息，因此开发者无法查看或远程删除设备上的数据。

八、第三方服务

本 App 使用 Apple 系统服务提供语音识别、App 内购买、系统分享和设备本地存储功能。这些服务的使用也受 Apple 隐私政策约束。

本 App 未集成第三方广告或分析 SDK。

九、政策变更

当 App 功能或法律要求发生变化时，本政策可能更新。如有重要变更，页面顶部的生效日期也会相应更新。
